"From residents to staff, everyone at Spruce Manor is considered part of an extended family. Like a family, the nursing department provides personalized care to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of residents. We provide round-the-clock skilled nursing care that promotes residents' independence and well-being. We are committed to providing optimum care in a setting that promotes dignity and respect for all residents.
As the Director of Care, I am responsible for the overall operation of the Nursing Department. A Registered Nurse (RN) is on duty or on-call 24-hours per day, 7-days a week. Licensed nurses and continuing care assistants (CCA) work as a team to provide nursing care during all shifts. Nursing staff and the attending doctor work in collaboration with residents and their families to determine resident needs and develop a plan of care that is individualized to each resident."
Spruce Manor welcomes residents of any faith or non-faith background. As a result of being founded by 3 faith-based churches, we also support, nurture and encourage growth in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Because of God's great love for us, He sent His Son to earth to die for us that we might have forgiveness for our sins, and for those who love Him - to live with Him eternally in heaven one day. Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." John 10:10b
